Our team principal John Crawford started in Formula Ford in the late 70’s.
He has spent numerous years racing himself and won the Formula Ford Competition in 1984 and 7th Champion of Champions Race in 1985.

John had a small racing career in Formula Ford Atlantic/Pacific then a change of focus lead to engineering and running four international race teams both in the UK and USA.

John and his wife Trish started the racing school at Ruapuna International Raceway in 1990 and ran this thru to 2000.
This was then sold to concentrate on his engineering and car building expertise from this developed the company Motorsport Solutions NZ Ltd.

John also has a passion for aviation and flying!

Andy Bell – Automotive Machinist
With 20 years experience.
Andy is a skilled Automotive Machinist / Engine Builder and Dyno Tuning with extensive machining in a wide variety of disciplines in the automotive industry.

Paul Connor – Automotive Machinist
With 30 years experience.
Paul has extensive expertise in all facets of engine building and automotive engineering.

Kyle Blackett – CNC Machine Operator
With 10 years experience.
Kyle is a genuine car enthusiast with an eye for design and manufacturing of specific components which ideally suits for his role in CNC.

Stephen Cosgrove – Race Engineer / Store Manager
With over 25 years experience.
Steve started with us back in the early 90’s then moved to Europe.
He has now rejoined the Team after 20+ years working in the European Race Circuit as a Race Engineer.

Sarita Scott – Office Manager
Looks after the administration requirements of the business.
