A positive end to the 20/21 season by our Ray Customers culminating at the recent NZFF Festival meeting at Ruapuna saw
Zac Christensen and Bree Morris spearheading the Ray charge.
With that and the strong season by the two drivers, competing in races in both islands, it has shown the potential of the GR20 Ray cars to all here.
SIFF Class 1 Title and 3rd Overall, for Zac and 5th in NZFF Championship on his first visit to the two Auckland tracks, an excellent result by him.
NIFF Class 1 2nd and 3rd Overall for Bree Morris, finishing an excellent rookie season by this young lady.
Dylan Petch in a GR20 and the two Track Tec Racing GR20 cars plus the older Rays of Ryan Low, Asten Addy and Kim Crocker, have all run well at the outings they have competed at too.
It is expected to see more new Rays coming to New Zealand this year and with Motorsport NZ’s recent announcement that the category will be managed better, the 21/22 season will be an interesting time for all at Motorsport Solutions NZ Ltd.
Our Engine team built some solid performing engines too, for 8 of our customers in the various classes this year and with further engine developments coming over the winter months, we will see some good gains in engine performance in the next season.
